I heard the size of today’s paintball tournament field is about 150’ x 150’. I mean if you can imagine how will it be like when you were shot from 20 feet with 22 bps (Balls per Second) and with the speed of 300 fps.
In that case I would rather play on a football field. Seriously, with the advancement of paintball technology, paintball industry should take this seriously.
Craig Miller is actively involved in the ASTM (American Society of Testing and Materials) is doing a revise on the legal rates of fire.
He says that he would suggest to slower the markers down. He also suggested that the speed should lower to 280 fps.
Well, I think Miller has a point there.
